Winding Hill is situated at the end of a quiet and peaceful winding lane, along the shores of picturesque Greenlaw Cove. The home backs to expansive shorefront and views over the cove, where an inlet wraps around one side of the property, further extending those impressive views. The home is surrounded by forest, offering ample privacy, and visited by a variety of birds and wildlife, including a majestic bald eagle couple nesting nearby, and a mother deer who brings her young to nibble in the grassy yard. Don't forget to bring your birding books!

closet, large picture window overlooking cove), 2 spacious bedrooms on
the main floor (each enjoying A+ views, main floor full bath), and 2
more sleeping areas on the lower level floor (with two queen sized

Over the garage is a brand-new "bunk room" consisting of a full bath, sitting area with TV-DVD (for movies only), small fridge, microwave, and comfortable sleeping for two to four people, also with views of the water. This home easily lends itself to parties of two, or larger groups to "spread out."

An oversized back deck covers nearly the entire back of the home. Outdoor table seating and cushion-covered lounge chairs will have you soaking in the sights and sounds of this incredible setting. When you are ready for activity, the shorefront is gently accessed, and perfect for slipping in to a kayak and exploring this picturesque area, or dipping in for a summer's swim.

Located of off the Sunshine Road, in an area known as Mountainville, the home provides easy access to the well known Haystack Mountain School of Crafts. It is only a few minutes drive to the town of Deer Isle, or the active fishing village of Stonington. Likewise, it is nicely located to take advantage of the nearby sites and activities of Blue Hill, Castine, Camden, Bar Harbor and Acadia. |
