Charming Deer Isle Oceanfront 1920s Cabin on Dunham Point!
"The Trivet"
This adorably simple cottage was built in the 1920s, and still retains much of
the original wicker and rattan furniture, hooked rugs, and chintz
curtains, and other charming period pieces. Lounge on the Adirondack
chairs in front of cottage, taking in spectacular views of Penobscot
Bay and superb sunsets. Eider ducks, loons, and gulls float along
shore. Cozy fireplace for chilly evenings. Wall heater also
available. All windows face the bay. The screen porch
enjoys one of the best views on the island!
