Sweet Pea Cottage is a modest but charming cottage located just up the hill and around the corner from downtown Stonington, and just outside the typical tourist area.  Simple and affordable, it is decorated in a cozy-cottage style with "shabby sheik" antiques and collectibles.  It is very clean,  thoughtfully supplied and well prepared for a fully enjoyable stay.  While not possessing a direct ocean view, a small path up behind the cottage leads to a hill top which has expansive views out of Stonington Harbor, out beyond Isle au Haut, and over to the hills of Camden.  It is but a 10 minute walk in to downtown Stonington, or just a few minutes drive to popular Sand Beach.  With so much public oceanfront and wide-ranging activities nearby, Sweet Pea Cottage provides a very affordable way to enjoy the amenities of Deer Isle and Stonington, but at one of the most affordable area rentals!  Sweet Pea Cottage also serves as a great "add on" property for overflow room when renting another property, or a more affordable option for seasonal workers to the area.
