There are four beautiful bedrooms, two upstairs and two downstairs. Both upstairs bedrooms showcase oversized dormers framing in an expansive view of Stonington Harbor and beyond, one with queen bed and sitting area, the other with twin bed and complete sitting area (serving as family room, too). A spacious deck welcomes those wishing to enjoy the outside sea air and take in all the activities of Stonington's busy harbor, as lobster boast busily perform their daily task. Or enjoy a basket lunch on the grounds, and pick your own apples!

Guests of Insmere Cottage also have beach privileges at the James Family Trust Property, a 620 foot area of private shore frontage as well as three and a half acres of woods along some of the most beautiful rocky shoreline on Deer Isle - only a ten minute drive from Insmere Cottage. You'll treasure this opportunity to have both the bustling in-town harbor and quiet shorefront experience all in one vacation property!!
